Plumbing Licence South Australia

South Australia (SA)

You must hold a licence to carry out plumbing works in South Australia. The Consumer and Business Services (CBS) regulates plumbing licences.

Qualification & Experience Requirements

You must have the following to apply for the licence:

    1. Depending on the category of plumbing work, you will need either Certificate III in Plumbing, Certificate IV in Plumbing and Services, or Certificate III in Gas Fitting, along with completion of relevant units.
    2. Sufficient experience and industry knowledge
    3. Adequate financial resources
    4. National Police Check
    5. Relevant experience
