To enroll in the CHC43121 - Certificate IV in Disability Support, applicants must meet one of the following prerequisites:
- Completion of CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)
- Completion of CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)
- Completion of CHC30408 Certificate III in Disability, plus the CHCSS00125 Entry to Certificate IV in Disability Support Skill Set
These qualifications ensure that candidates have the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the Certificate IV program.

How to Apply for a License
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) means an assessment process that assesses the competency/s of an individual that may have been acquired through formal, non-formal and informal learning to determine the extent to which that individual meets the requirements specified in the training package or VET accredited courses.
You can use a variety of evidence to apply for RPL. Our partnered RTO will assess the evidence to decide if further training or assessment is required.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Records of completed training
- Assessment items
- Assessment records
- Declarations from a student’s employer, and/or
- A copy of student records provided by ASQA.
