There are no formal entry requirements for this Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance course. However, Educube has additional entry requirements for this qualification;

• Students must be at least 18 years old.
• Language, literacy, and numeracy (LLN) skills: Students should have sufficient LLN skills to successfully complete the course. This may be assessed through a pre-enrollment LLN assessment.
• There are no specific educational prerequisites for this course. However, it is recommended that students have completed at least Year 10 or equivalent.
• While not mandatory, some prior experience or knowledge in healthcare or allied health may be beneficial for understanding course content and completing practical tasks.
• Students should have access to a computer with internet connection and basic computer skills, as well as the ability to use email and word processing software.
• Students must complete at least 120 hours of clinical placement as part of the course requirements. Placement must be completed within organisational requirements and may involve direct, indirect, or remote supervision.
• Students must adhere to Commonwealth and State/Territory legislation, Australian standards, and industry codes of practice during their placements and throughout the course.

How to Apply for a License

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) means an assessment process that assesses the competency/s of an individual that may have been acquired through formal, non-formal and informal learning to determine the extent to which that individual meets the requirements specified in the training package or VET accredited courses.

You can use a variety of evidence to apply for RPL. Our partnered RTO will assess the evidence to decide if further training or assessment is required.
This includes, but is not limited to:

• Records of completed training
• Assessment items
• Assessment records
• Declarations from a student’s employer, and/or
• A copy of student records provided by ASQA.
