Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course. However, Educube has additional entry requirements for this qualification;
- Work Experience: Must complete at least 120 hours of work as part of the course requirements.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to demonstrate leadership and take limited responsibility for the quality and quantity of outputs of others within defined parameters.
- Language, Literacy, and Numeracy Skills: Sufficient skills to complete coursework and assessments, equivalent to at least Year 10 level.
- Regulatory Compliance: Must meet any additional state or territory regulatory requirements.
- Work Placement: Access to a regulated aged care setting for practical work placement.

How to Apply for a License
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) means an assessment process that assesses the competency/s of an individual that may have been acquired through formal, non-formal and informal learning to determine the extent to which that individual meets the requirements specified in the training package or VET accredited courses.
You can use a variety of evidence to apply for RPL. Our partnered RTO will assess the evidence to decide if further training or assessment is required.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Records of completed training
- Assessment items
- Assessment records
- Declarations from a student’s employer, and/or
- A copy of student records provided by ASQA.
