Entry Requirements

This qualification is suitable for an Australian apprenticeship pathway and apprenticeship enrollment, you must be employed in the industry.

• You need a letter of support from your employer.
• Submit your Training Plan Proposal (TPP) with your application.
  

Admission Requirements 

No specific qualifications or prior experience are needed to enroll in this course.

• International students must provide evidence of:
• IELTS score of at least 6.0 or equivalent, or completion of General English or English for Academic Purposes at Advanced level.
• Successful completion of the Genuine Student Test.
• Digital literacy and access to a working internet connection and suitable PC or laptop.
• Language, literacy, and numeracy skills to complete the course requirements.
• Completion of Australian year 12 or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old at the course start date.
  

Please Note:

• All students must complete a Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) test on orientation day to identify any additional support needs.
• It is recommended to complete 'CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry' before starting, as it's a prerequisite for most units in the qualification.

• Progression to higher-level qualifications such as a Master's degree in Construction Management or Building Surveying
• Opportunities for specialization in fire safety engineering, sustainable building design, or project management.

How to Apply for a License

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) means an assessment process that assesses the competency/s of an individual that may have been acquired through formal, non-formal and informal learning to determine the extent to which that individual meets the requirements specified in the training package or VET accredited courses.

You can use a variety of evidence to apply for RPL. Our partnered RTO will assess the evidence to decide if further training or assessment is required.
This includes, but is not limited to:

• Records of completed training
• Assessment items
• Assessment records
• Declarations from a student’s employer, and/or
• A copy of student records provided by ASQA.
