There are no formal entry requirements for this Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology course. However, Educube has additional entry requirements for this qualification;

• have a minimum of two years equivalent full-time workplace experience.
• be 18 years of age or older at the time of enrolment
• have a Unique Student Identifier (USI) number (you can receive a USI or check if you already have one by visiting here)
• Participants should have language, literacy, and numeracy skills equivalent to a minimum of Year 10.
• It is highly recommended that all students are computer literate, as there is a portion of this course that involves computer work.

How to Apply for a License

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) means an assessment process that assesses the competency/s of an individual that may have been acquired through formal, non-formal and informal learning to determine the extent to which that individual meets the requirements specified in the training package or VET accredited courses.

You can use a variety of evidence to apply for RPL. Our partnered RTO will assess the evidence to decide if further training or assessment is required.
This includes, but is not limited to:

• Records of completed training
• Assessment items
• Assessment records
• Declarations from a student’s employer, and/or
• A copy of student records provided by ASQA.
