The CHC33021 - Certificate III in Individual Support is designed to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge required to provide person-centered support to people who may require assistance due to aging, disability, or other reasons. This qualification focuses on the development of essential skills such as communication, individual care planning, and support, as well as understanding and applying legal and ethical guidelines in a care setting.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course. However, Educube has additional entry requirements for this qualification;
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have completed Year 10 or equivalent.
- Proficiency in English, with strong literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ability to apply skills by Commonwealth and State/Territory legislation, Australian standards, and industry codes of practice.
- Must be willing to undertake at least 120 hours of practical work placement in a regulated care service.
- Must pass a National Police Check and Working with Children Check (where applicable).
No licensing, legislative, regulatory, or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

How to Apply for a License
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) means an assessment process that assesses the competency/s of an individual that may have been acquired through formal, non-formal and informal learning to determine the extent to which that individual meets the requirements specified in the training package or VET accredited courses.
You can use a variety of evidence to apply for RPL. Our partnered RTO will assess the evidence to decide if further training or assessment is required.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Records of completed training
- Assessment items
- Assessment records
- Declarations from a student’s employer, and/or
- A copy of student records provided by ASQA.
