Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course However to successfully achieve this qualification, you must complete eleven units of competency, including eight core units and three elective units.
Entry Recommendation
It is recommended to have a sound achievement in
- Year 10 English and Mathematics, or equivalent.
All students must acquire and wear the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including
- Protective eyewear (clear safety glasses as per Australian Standard AS 1336 or 1337)
- Protective footwear (safety toe, leather upper, non-slip as per AS2210)
- Protective clothing (sleeved, cotton workwear or employer-supplied uniform)

- CPCCWHS2001 Apply WHS requirements, policies, and procedures in the construction industry
- CPCCOM1013 Plan and organize work
- CPCCOM1012 Work effectively and sustainably in the construction industry
- CPCCCM2005 Use construction tools and equipment
- CPCCVE1011 Undertake a basic construction project
- CPCCCM1011 Undertake basic estimation and costing
- CPCCCM2004 Handle construction materials
Upon completion of the {Title}, graduates can pursue various career pathways, including:

- Essential work health and safety knowledge
- Basic communication skills

How to Apply for a License
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) means an assessment process that assesses the competency/s of an individual that may have been acquired through formal, non-formal and informal learning to determine the extent to which that individual meets the requirements specified in the training package or VET accredited courses.
You can use a variety of evidence to apply for RPL. Our partnered RTO will assess the evidence to decide if further training or assessment is required.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Records of completed training
- Assessment items
- Assessment records
- Declarations from a student’s employer, and/or
- A copy of student records provided by ASQA.
